With nearly three decades of industry experience in stone, tile, and surfacing, Oscar Castellón is the Founder and CEO of Solid Tile, the leading supplier of stone, porcelain tile, and surfacing products for architecture, design, and development professionals. Oscar’s extensive portfolio of luxury developments and hotels in the Southeast US includes the Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton Tampa, Armani Residences, Pendry Hotel & Condo Tampa, Forte Residences, The Edition Residences, Cipriani Residences, SLS LUX, Icon Bay, and an array of other marquee developments in Miami and beyond. In this role, Oscar specializes in developing corporate strategy, as well as managing strategic customer relationships and its ever-evolving product portfolio.

Oscar began his career in 1993, working for the leader in flooring for Miami’s top architects, designers, and high-profile residential properties, including the iconic work on the Versace Mansion. By 1995, after identifying further needs in the industry, Oscar started and quickly grew his own venture developing product portfolio and sales channels for some of the industry’s most important manufacturing groups in Europe and Asia. Through this, he nurtured key relationships and developed one of the most coveted retail and wholesale networks in the industry for the US market. In addition, he created the only sourcing platform connecting his exclusive manufacturing partners to large-scale multifamily and hospitality projects directly.

Over his 25 years working with the industry’s best importers, retailers, and distributors, Oscar realized there was an opportunity to build a brand focused on servicing the complex needs of architectural and design firms that specialize in multi-family, hospitality, commercial, institutional, and luxury residential projects. This understanding led him to establish Solid Tile, a company that embodies the spirit of excellence which has marked his career every step of the way.

Co-Founder & COO

With over a decade of industry experience in stone, tile, and surfacing, Pablo Vila, serves as Co-Founder and COO of Solid Tile, the leading supplier of stone, porcelain tile, and surfacing products for architecture, design, and development professionals serving the top luxury developments and hotels in the Southeast US, such as the Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton Tampa, Armani Residences, Pendry Hotel & Condo Tampa, Forte Residences, The Edition Residences, Cipriani Residences, SLS LUX, Icon Bay, and an array of other marquee developments in Miami and beyond. In this role, Pablo specializes in providing sourcing, purchasing, and logistics, as well as servicing customers at the various stages of their projects.

Pablo is a Certified CSI Construction Documents Technologist (CDT®), and his strong work ethic and diligence continuously deliver on Solid Tile’s promise of excellence for their clients and partners. Pablo received his Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and has worked in Spain, China, Hong Kong, Mexico, and USA.

Head of Global Procurement

Vanessa is a Civil Engineer with a strong background in complex construction environments, supported by a master's degree in project management and a specialization in Project Design.

At Solid Tile, she serves as Head of Global Procurement, leading the company’s international sourcing and logistics strategy. She manages manufacturing partnerships, samples-technical submittals, approvals, and purchase orders ensuring alignment between production schedules, quality standards, and project timelines. Her role is central to delivering high-performance surface solutions for world-class hospitality and commercial projects.

Estimating and Invoicing Administrator

Milagros is a licensed Architect with over 15 years of experience across architectural and construction environments in Latin America and the United States.

At Solid Tile, she serves as Estimating and Invoicing Administrator, managing project estimates, invoicing, and technical documentation with a strong focus on accuracy and cost control. Her architectural background supports efficient coordination and reliable execution across hospitality and commercial projects.

Procurement Coordinator

Sara is an Electronic Engineer with a specialization in Instrumentation and Automation and experience in operationally driven industries.

At Solid Tile, she serves as Procurement Coordinator, supporting sourcing and logistics operations through vendor coordination and process execution. With a strong problem-solving mindset and collaborative approach, she contributes to efficiency, reliability, and quality across the supply chain.

Executive Assistant to the CEO

Verónica is an Executive Assistant and certified Scrum Master with over 15 years of experience supporting senior leadership across international markets.

At Solid Tile, she serves as Executive Assistant to the CEO, acting as a strategic partner in the coordination of executive priorities, high-level communications, and cross-functional alignment. She supports decision-making, operational follow-through, and strategic initiatives that drive growth and organizational excellence within the tile and surfaces sector.

Office Manager

Karin is a highly organized professional with extensive experience in strategic procurement and executive support roles. Throughout her career, she has developed strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and efficiency.

At Solid Tile, Karin serves as Office Manager, acting as a key point of contact for office-related matters, vendors, supplies, internal coordination, and general administrative support. In this role, she helps ensure that daily operations run smoothly while supporting the team with a practical, proactive, and service-oriented approach.

Sample Coordinator

Santiago is an Industrial Engineer with a background in logistics, quality systems, and production processes.

At Solid Tile, he serves as Sample Coordinator, overseeing the end-to-end management of the company’s sample program. He sources and prepares materials, manages labeling and packaging, and coordinates shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery to clients, supporting sales and design decision-making.

Logistics Coordinator

Gustavo is an Industrial Engineer with a strong foundation in logistics management and process optimization.

At Solid Tile, he serves as Logistics Coordinator, overseeing shipment planning and execution to ensure on-time delivery and efficient resource utilization. His data-driven approach and focus on continuous improvement support the alignment of logistics operations with business objectives.

Receiving Manager

Leonardo is an Agronomist with extensive experience in operations and leadership across public and private sectors.

At Solid Tile, he serves as Receiving Manager, overseeing inbound logistics and inventory control. His hands-on approach ensures accuracy, organization, and efficiency in material handling, supporting a dependable and well-coordinated supply chain.

Shipping Manager

Néstor is an Agronomy Engineer with extensive experience in operations, logistics, and senior management roles.

At Solid Tile, he serves as Shipping Manager, leading outbound logistics with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery. His leadership ensures smooth coordination across teams and reliable execution across domestic and international shipments.

Lake Placid Warehouse Operations

Carlos plays a key role in Solid Tile’s warehouse operations at the Lake Placid Warehouse, overseeing receiving, storage, and distribution activities.

Through his attention to detail and hands-on approach, he ensures inventory accuracy and efficient daily operations, supporting timely order fulfillment and dependable logistics execution.

Miami Warehouse Operations

Daniel is a warehouse operations professional with experience in fast-paced logistics environments and a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

At Solid Tile, Daniel supports daily warehouse operations at the Miami Warehouse, assisting with receiving, order preparation, material handling, and inventory organization. His reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork contribute to smooth warehouse workflows and timely order fulfillment.

Driver

Juan plays a key role in Solid Tile’s delivery operations, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of materials to customers.

He is responsible for proper product handling, accurate delivery documentation, and dependable execution across daily routes, supporting Solid Tile’s commitment to reliable service and on-time delivery.

Executive Assistant to the COO

Lucía is an Experienced Executive Assistant and Administrative Manager with over 10 years of experience supporting C-level executives in international companies across technology, telecommunications, finance, and legal sectors. Holds advanced degrees in Project Management, Communication, and Digital Journalism, with a proven ability to manage complex administrative operations with organization, discretion, and efficiency.

She serves as the Executive Assistant to the COO at Solid Tile, providing high-level strategic and operational support to executive leadership. She works closely with leadership and project teams to help ensure timelines, priorities, and deliverables remain aligned across multiple initiatives.
